And I prefer to say that nature is the only body of God that we shall ever see.\u201d<\/blockquote><figcaption class=\"source\">\u2014 Frank Lloyd Wright<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p>\u200b<b>Frank Lloyd Wright<\/b> (born <b>Frank Lincoln Wright<\/b>, June 8, 1867 \u2013 April 9, 1959) was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 structures and completed 500 works. Wright believed in designing structures which were in harmony with humanity and its environment, a philosophy he called <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Organic_architecture\"><span class=\"s1\">organic architecture<\/span><\/a>. This philosophy was best exemplified by his design for <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fallingwater\"><span class=\"s1\">Fallingwater<\/span><\/a> (1935), which has been called &#8220;the best all-time work of American architecture&#8221;.<span class=\"s2\">[1]<\/span> Wright was a leader of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prairie_School\"><span class=\"s1\">Prairie School<\/span><\/a> movement of architecture and developed the concept of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Usonia\"><span class=\"s1\">Usonian<\/span><\/a> home, his unique vision for urban planning in the United States.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"sqs-html-content\">\n<p>His work includes original and innovative examples of many different building types, including offices, churches, schools, skyscrapers, hotels, and museums. Wright also designed many of the interior elements of his buildings, such as the furniture and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stained_glass\"><span class=\"s1\">stained glass<\/span><\/a>. Wright authored 20 books and many articles and was a popular lecturer in the United States and in Europe. His colorful personal life often made headlines, most notably for the 1914 fire and murders at his\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taliesin_(studio)\"><span class=\"s1\">Taliesin studio<\/span><\/a>.
